On Lovebird
Summary: Most definitely a *me* kind of perfume Lovebird is a gentle, complex melody on the skin ~ never overpowering Lovebird would charm the hardest to please non perfume lover (methinks). I really love this perfume. I love the pale green floral of it ~ floral but not flowery, NOT indolic. A green sheen, a web of beauty, a journey far far into the Fairy Forest and a sweet rest in Titania’s mossy bower.
Highly Recommended.
Pros: Beauty Beauty Beauty. no note overpowers another.
Cons: Price although I would say WELL worth it. A little bottle will last a long time as it is Parfum strength.
Notes: A vibrant green top of Bergamot, Mexican Key Lime, Turkish Galbanum and Lemon. A delicate heart of Vietnamese Basil, Neroli, Australian Violet Leaf, Jasmine grandiflorum and Orange Blossom is supported by Oakmoss, Vetiver and Ambrette Seed.
Designer’s Description:This delicate fresh green floral is perfect for the office or evening out. One of the most beautiful birds in the world and my beloved peach-faced lovebird is the inspiration for this floral perfume. A multi-color/aroma treasure that’s fresh, floral and stirring.

"Here are my impressions of your lovely perfumes:
I loved the deep woodsy aroma of Basque. It had some nice green edges and was reminiscent of a big burly guy fresh from the forest and covered in fragrant wood chips.
Carnival is yummy and I wanted to spread this fruity, plummy, jammy blend on toast and munch it up. There was a lovely floral bouquet before the final dry down to Blonde Tobac.
A warm fireplace, flickering light, a big bowl of green grapes, a glass of fruity wine and we're in for the night - all of these images came to mind when I inhaled Hush Hush. The Pimento and Tarragon really stand out in this one.
In Ishiki, the leathery note from Costus Root demands attention, sniff, sniff, sniff, like an old leather jacket on a rainy afternoon. I detect a fruity and slightly spicy background. All of this reminds me of my teenage dating years when the guys went all out to impress us gals with their fonzy dos, leather jackets, and Old Spice aftershave.
The myrrh and saffron lead this parade with a true leather accord. Les Cadeaux is really well done.
I love the full floral finish in Lovebird, which opens very fresh and green. My favourite so far.
Parisian Pink is very classy and great for evening wear; soft femme; beautiful.
Raincoast is very unusual with aromas from the rainforest, the damp forest floor, hanging mosses, nursery trees, leaf litter, mosses; I like it very much.
Shocking Pink is quite innovative and the light clove/lime accord really worked. This scent reminds me of something in my childhood but I can't quite put my finger on it...
Tickled Pink - OK, I love this! It is fresh and the spearmint makes it fun. It's a bit bubble-gummy and a young tween would love this... Or an elder Grandma who wants to perk up her olfactory senses... c'est moi.
Twilight - again a great leathery note predominates. You are very good at this."
